26th Meeting at Cornell

The FTG Spring Meeting will be held at Cornell on April 29 and 30, 2022. The current plan is that this meeting will be held in-person only at the Breazzano Center. The meeting is organized by Lin William Cong, Adrian Aycan Corum, Maureen O’Hara, and Gideon Saar and is sponsored by the FinTech at Cornell Initiative and the Finance Group at the SC Johnson College of Business.

The meeting will be subject to Cornell’s Public Health Policy:

“Attendees must bring photo ID and provide one of the following when arriving at an event:

  • proof of being fully vaccinated for COVID-19 with an FDA- or WHO-authorized vaccine (Excelsior Pass encouraged, but photo, screenshot or copy of vaccination card are acceptable);
  • results of a negative FDA- or DOH-authorized PCR, rapid PCR, or nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT) COVID-19 test collected within 72 hours of the event start; or
  • an FDA-authorized antigen test performed on a specimen collected within six hours of the event start.”

Transportation and Directions:

Ithaca is served by Ithaca Tompkins Airport (ITH), with daily direct flights to Ithaca from Washington-Dulles (IAD), Detroit (DTW), and Charlotte (CLT). The airport is 10 minutes by car from area hotels and Cornell University. Local taxi companies are Ithaca Dispatch (607-277-7777) and Collegetown Cab (607-588-8888). Uber and Lyft are also available in Ithaca.

It is also possible to fly to the much larger Syracuse Hancock International Airport (SYR), which is about 60 miles from Ithaca, and rent a car to drive to Ithaca.

The conference will be held at the Johnson School’s Breazzano Center, which is a new state-of-the-art business education building located in the middle of Collegetown at 209 Dryden Road, Ithaca, NY 14850-4723. For those arriving with a car, there is convenient parking a couple of minutes walk from the Breazzano Center at the Dryden Road Garage (118 Dryden Road).
